Privacy & terms

Plain-language information about how tutoring requests are handled. Last updated August 2026.

Who we are

Students Helping Students is a volunteer, student-run peer tutoring program serving Pike County Middle School in Zebulon, Georgia. Tutoring is offered free of charge. We are not a licensed educational service, and we do not charge, bill, or accept payment of any kind.

What information we collect

Only what you type into the tutoring request form: the student's first name, grade, the subjects you need help with, the day and time you'd like, an optional phone number or email so a tutor can reply, and any notes you add.

How we use it

Your request is used for one purpose: to schedule and confirm a tutoring session. It is emailed to the adult program coordinator and stored securely so the request is not lost. We never sell, rent, advertise with, or share this information with anyone outside the program.

Please don't send sensitive information

Do not include grades, medical details, disciplinary information, Social Security numbers, or anything confidential in the notes box. Share only what a tutor needs to help with the subject.

Students under 13 and parent permission

This program is for middle school students. If you are under 13, please submit the form with a parent or guardian's permission. A parent or guardian may contact us at 678-544-1718 at any time to review, correct, or delete a request that was submitted for their child.

How long we keep it

Requests are kept only as long as needed to schedule and follow up on sessions, and are deleted at the end of each school year. Request deletion sooner by calling or texting 678-544-1718.

Terms of use

Tutoring is peer academic help offered in good faith by student volunteers and is not a guarantee of any grade, test score, or academic outcome. Tutors do not complete assignments for students. Sessions take place in the Pike County Middle School Library during supervised school hours and follow all school rules and policies. Requesting a session is not a confirmed appointment until someone replies to you.
